AI-assisted development, custom apps, IT security, and audio/video — 25 years of systems work

Beyond the code, two more trades run through my work. IT security: analysing how a business actually handles its systems and data, and reporting where it needs tightening. And audio/video: I work as a technician on both sides of the production — recording and sound, then editing and finishing. I'm also an instructor and public speaker, as comfortable training a team on a new system as building it, and I take on graphic design when a project needs it — logos, print, and the sites that carry them. What's below is what that adds up to day-to-day.
I build software with AI doing the heavy lifting — well-formed prompts instead of writing everything from scratch. One client site (ia-ai.se itself) was generated this way in minutes. I've measured development speedups of roughly 1000% on suitable work: automations, content generation, internal tools, full apps.
Turn an idea into a working app — web, mobile, or desktop — without needing your own dev team. I handle the full path from a rough concept to something you can actually launch and maintain, and I can hand off code you own outright.
The traditional consulting side: e-commerce platforms, dealer/service systems, API integrations, and workflow automation for teams that need something built properly and kept running.
Security reviews grounded in how the organisation really works: process analysis, a look at systems, access and data handling, and a written report with concrete steps to close the gaps — without slowing the daily work down.
Technician work for recordings and productions — sound, camera and editing — plus the automation side: templated, headless video rendering (see Video Pipeline below) when you need many videos rather than one.
Collective decision-making that scales like a snowflake: circles of 4–8 people discuss and vote, round by round, until a few proposals and representatives carry the whole group's voice. Web app plus the Telegram bot behind fractalcircles.org, live since early 2026.
PythonA linked-note app for phone and desktop that remembers where and when, not just what: a map with a time slider, a 3×3 grid, shared spaces and reminders.
JavaScriptOne platform for call center, invoicing and team operations. Each team sees only what its role needs, and new modules snap in without touching the core.
CSS/JSVideo automation: fast, headless video rendering with dynamic templates and transitions.
The "Chat with Mikael" widget on this site: a RAG pipeline over ~400 archived sources, feeding a Claude-powered persona chat.
FastAPI · RAGSelected past projects: Hyundai dealer service/sales tools, Din Bilnyckel (Magento e-commerce), Tecknarskolan (online course platform), Kunskapsplattan (WordPress plugin for selling mobile apps), A6 Lås & Larm (Visma integrations).
