IT & AI consultant · political voice for the freedom movement · awakened warrior & spiritual teacher · Gothenburg region, Sweden
I've worked as an independent IT and AI consultant for about 25 years — web development, automation, IT security, audio/video production, and now AI-driven solutions (RAG pipelines, chatbots, the kind of thing this site's chat widget runs on), for clients ranging from Hyundai, Volvo, and DaimlerChrysler down to small businesses that just need something built properly. I studied Computer Engineering at Mid Sweden University, specializing in AI and distributed systems — which turned out to be good preparation for where AI consulting ended up 25 years later. This is the one part of my work where I keep things direct and professional — just what the system needs and how to build it.
In the early 2000s a documentary about how concentrated power actually moves changed how I saw everything, and a week later I'd started an internet community to talk about it. That became Vaken.se in 2004 — Sweden's best-known "truth movement" media site, still running today, with me still writing on it. It was never about left or right for me: the real divide is between controlled, centralized power and decentralization, where people govern themselves.
During the vaccine-mandate years I organized a series of demonstrations against them — starting in Portugal with Aljezur ABC, which I founded, then in Gothenburg and Stockholm under Vakenmanifestet, which I also founded, tied into the international WWD (World Wide Demonstration) network. In 2022 I also ran for the Swedish parliament for Partiet MoD. Underneath all of it is the same idea I keep coming back to, in politics as much as in software or spiritual organizing: break concentrated power down into small, accountable circles rather than trying to capture the center.
As Ananda, I teach and coach people already walking a spiritual path. My own path started earlier than most of what I've published about it suggests — a first awakening at age 7, long before the political one, in nights of childhood insomnia that turned into deep, spontaneous meditative states. Zen practice under Sante Sensei came next, then years later Rastafari positivity practice from a friend named Ras in Spain, and threads of shamanic work since. I don't teach any one of those as the system — if you're asking about your own practice, expect clues and questions back, not a lecture. The path points inward, not at me.
Shambala is the name this teaching has carried for me since 2013 — a retreat center and off-grid community I built and ran in Portugal in 2018-2019, a teaching corpus I wrote there (on listening, simplicity, and peaceful communication), and now a Substack where I write as Ananda for whoever's following the path from a distance.
